Gwenn & Jim Zimmerman
We are beyond excited to call 389 Farmview Road our home. We were able to spend a couple weeks there in June and were very fortunate to have met so many neighbors during that visit. If all goes well, we are hoping to become full-time residents of Farmcolony before the end of the year. In the meantime, we reside in the suburbs of Chicago. Jim is an all-round handyman who works part-time at Lowes. He also spends every other Saturday helping to transport rescue dogs. Gwen is a school administrator of a high school in the Chicago area with a background teaching high school mathematics.
When we recently visited you may have seen us walking Bella and Ash. Bella is a very spry and active 14-year old, and Ash is great at alerting us of any truck driving down the street.
We are anxious to relocate, and we look forward to contributing to the community.
Jeffrey Zulli
I live in Chesapeake Virginia at the moment working for Charles Barker Automotive. I moved here from West Palm Beach in 2011 due to work promotion from a dealership in Florida. I discovered Lydia Mountain on a get-away and have since purchased a vacation cabin there and wish to build a full time residence in the near future possibly in Farmcolony. I look forward to meeting neighbors during my future trips to the cabin as I drive through the farm to scope out my land. Nice meeting you all virtually so far!
Kathy & Mike Foley
Kathy and Mike retired and moved to Farmcolony in December 2021 after raising three daughters in Winchester, VA. They have five grandchildren, three of whom now live across the street. “We look forward to enjoying our retirement by spending time with family and friends, farm activities, and traveling,” says Kathy.
